INSTAGRAM DIARY | APRIL

I know it has been pretty quiet on the blog, but its not that bad because I've been absent for happy reasons. I've been busy coping with a bonanza of loveliness that April brought into my life. Yes, I might have broken a few rules and my skin still isn't too happy about it at the moment, but I'm fine with that because to round it up, there were sprouts of sweet surprises every day, which restored my faith in life; that life is beautiful and any thing is possible so I should always be thankful. For once I feel like life itself is so awesome and all I want to do is to shout about it. April came and raised the bar high for the rest of 2015. and I will not complain. So here it is - A post dedicated especially to the loveliness of April.

From Left to right/Top to bottom:

♥ Its safe to say that no one would say no to hitting the sheets by 11pm accompanied by a good ol C21 playlist, a burning scented candle by the bedside and absolutely nothing in mind. I had one of those nights and it was perfect.  

♥ A beautiful sunset sky that we will never see again. In all its glory I hear it saying to me "Always be on the lookout for wonder. Beautiful things in life may not last long, but they do come around every day. The greatest things in life are simple and bliss is free".

♥ I splurged on a few pieces of copper. and there's no regretting that. Some times in life we mustn't take money so seriously. (Inserting words of Tay Tay) Shake it off if a few pieces of copper can allow you to experience just one second of magic. 

♥ It's more than just a sweet tray of chocolate madness. It's friendship. My friends came by at 10 in the night to surprise my sister who just fractured her toe. We ended up having a picnic in bed, juicy conversations, the liberty to make the worst catwalks in the world, and endless laughs. Perfect. 

♥ Great fun at The Super Hero Run! Boy it was fun showing up as Super Tinkerbell, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman and Robin Hood, and running 5km dressed like that. Gotta admit I was a little bit anxious about getting judged, but I'm glad I did it any way. We ended up getting lots of picture requests! Life is really all about being bold. A bold spirit never disappoints. Dare to go all out for the things you feel strongly for, and you will shine!

♥ My childhood dream to be Tinkerbell has finally come true. DIYed this costume for the Super Hero Run with the help of my amazing aunt and cousin, all for under RM15! You can only imagine my glee. 

♥ Life is full of surprises. I was ecstatic to see my ship friends again and spend a good amount of time together. Mostly I made sure they ate and ate and ate, spoiled them with only the best of Kuching's food, chitchatted under the stars and lots of fun in the sun!

♥ I was feeling brave so I went ahead and jumped in at the deep end and chopped my hair short! In all honesty, we have a complicated love/hate relationship. but mostly, we love each other so I guess we're good. I'd love to keep it that way. 

There you have it! The bits and bobs of things I enjoyed in April. Well, May is here. I will say "I like new beginnings because I know there's more to come" I hope it will be as lovely as April, or even better. xx
